My friend Nikita is visiting all the way from India! I'm so happy. She's one of my best friends and we were really close last year and the year before, when she lived here. I was so sad when I found out she was moving, especially all the way to another country! We met up and I was so happy to see her. I drew this picture of her:

to celebrate!
I finally posted my commission info. XD Check it out. Or not. Haha, don't feel pressured. I know it's kind of expensive, sorry! It's all in points though.
[link]I can't wait for the school year to end! I want to go to high school and go to Japan and gaaahhhhh... I am kind of nervous for all of that though. Have you ever heard the story of Sadako Sasaki and the thousand paper cranes? It's a true story. There was this girl in Japan named Sadako who got leukemia, because she lived near Hiroshima and the radiation caused the cancer. There's an ancient Japanese story that whoever folds a thousand paper cranes will be granted a wish by the gods. Sadako decided to take the challenge and fold as many cranes as she could. It's unknown whether or not she completed her goal of one thousand cranes. A memorial for Sadako and other Hiroshima victims stands in Japan today. You can fold a paper crane and put it on her grave. I'm going to the memorial and I'll fold a crane for Sadako.

See you later! I'm off to read a book about Sadako and her paper cranes.
